Rudders have a base price of $750.00 plus tax for artwork on the outside of a 4 foot pair of rudders. Our pricing will be negotiated directly with each customer (this price is based on a new ,clean ,pre-painted, never used set of rudders with artwork already designed and will depend on the amount of art work to be done. Rudders that have to be designed will depend on the intricacy of the design and the direct amount of time put forth in designing the art for the customer. If you require a different picture on each rudder the cost of the rudders will be significantly higher for 2 separate designs in the the time factor will be longer to do. Colors of base coat clear coat will be charged a fee to prepare and paint of $100.00 per set we have these sent out and done so it also adds an extra week to the time we have your rudders. If you have your rudder powder coated first this adds no cost to the art work and I would prefer you to have this done and cured prior to booking your rudders for us to paint so everything will be cured and ready for airbrushing and clear coat. We are not responsible for paint or powdercoat we did not do , but if we sent your rudders out to have them painted first will will stand 100% behind them! Please understand if the paint underneath the art work is done prior to us painting them and it fails or lifts we will not repaint the rudders free of charge but if we do it and it fails we will be glad to refinish the rudders free of charge. (No the beer can through the cage does not constitute paint failure)nor does any malicious or chemical attack on the surface. If you have your rudders powder coated make sure they are foam filled before they arrive here after a proper curing time of 1 week. This insures no separation from the surface of the powder coat due to the foam expanding on the inside of the rudder. Foam filled rudders can not be re-powder coated. You don't have to be an artist to have on your rudders what you want. All you usually have to do is explain what it is and let me run with it. If you have artwork already that is a plus in the time department as it takes more time to design than to actually paint .Bring your art work but don't plagiarize someone else's work. If you have the artist permission to use what they have done then I will contact them for conformation. |
